Our iris crop is an up-and-comer for B and H Flowers. The crop, starting with bulbs from the finest growers in Holland and the United States, has drastically changed since the mid-1980s, when it was primarily a spring crop synonymous with Easter. Today we grow iris at steady amounts on a weekly basis all year.

Currently, B and H Flowers Inc. produces Discovery Iris as our primary blue year-round color. Discovery Iris is the new standard in Blue Iris genetics and is known for superior disease resistance, strong upright stems and vibrant dark blue color.

The flower emerges straight upwards out of the sheath showing color early in the flower stage, thus lasting longer than traditional types of blue iris. B and H Flowers is the largest producer of Discovery Iris in North America.
